Attack on Planet Feline
The project brief we were provided with clearly states: Create movie art and additional S.W.A.G. needed to promote an independent film at CinemaCon, a convention owned by the National Association of Theater Owners, held annually in Las Vegas. There are no big-name stars attached to this film project, so, therefore, the film’s character(s) are not the driving force for the poster artwork. Instead, you will need to set a mood and theme with scene creation from the movie as the primary visual. we were to write a synopsis and then make an original movie concept. here is a highlight of my synopsis Title: Atack of Planet Feline Genre: Sci-fi Horror Logline: Aliens take the form of regular house cats. They plan to enslave the human race by turning them into cats. The main protagonist Julia is a cat lover. She meets her boyfriend Chris. They have been in a relationship for many years. Chris plans to take their relationship to the next level by adopting a new fluffy friend. Julia and Chris had a Date. Then Chris decides to take Julia to dinner and the Animal shelter. When they arrive at the animal shelter named “planet feline”. Chris has an instant feeling of dread when he arrives at the shelter. I took images from Unsplash and photo-bashed them to make a scene.
Art for Good Poster
Using my skills in Illustrator and Photoshop/Procreate, I created an original illustration inspired by a quote from Albert Einstein. My vision was to depict a feline wearing a cone of shame as a result of making a mistake. To add an extra touch, I used After Effects to animate the illustration. You can find the animation on my YouTube page. Even though I wasn't able to sell posters of my work at an event due to it being Canceled, I feel proud of what I achieved.
